Students would be provided domiciles at schools, says DC

MARDAN: Deputy Commissioner Mardan Habibullah Arif has said that this year before the matric exams results all the students would be provided domiciles at their schools and no affidavit and attestation from a gazetted officer would be required in order to facilitate them in a convenient and easy way.

While talking to media persons here on Friday, he stated that when the matric exams results were announced, students started visiting the district courts and revenue department offices for domiciles, however, this year the district administration had decided to issue domiciles to all the students at their schools to overcome their problems and save their precious time.

He said that the district administration would charge no fee from the students for the provision of domiciles but they would be required to provide their passport size photos to their schools administration to make their domiciles, adding that a male student would provide his two pictures and a female student would provide her one picture.

The DC further stated that the aim of this initiative was to create ease and comfort for the students, adding that the district administration was fully committed to public service and such more steps would also be taken to facilitate the people at their doorstep.
