IAP, Directorate of Education organize projects presentation event

PESHAWAR: The Industrialists Association Peshawar (IAP) in collaboration with the Directorate of Higher Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized a projects presentation event here the other day at IAP office in which students from various government colleges participated and presented their projects.

Provincial Minister for Higher Education Meena Khan Afridi chaired the event, while President IAP Ayub Khan Zakori, Vice President Farhad Asfandiyar, Ex-President Riaz Arshed, and Ex-President Zarak Khan Khattak were also present on the occasion.

Apart from them, IAP members; Mian Rahimdad Khan, Asghar Saleem Keen, Afshan Khan, Faisal Safi, Latif Hussain, Atta ur Rehman, Dr. Bilal Khan, Farooq Khan, Aziz Jan, Ismail Khan Mohmand, Haider Ali, Said Afzal, Muhammad Tariq, and representatives from AGE Cables, Peshawar Chemicals, MKB Group, and Manahil Printing Press also attended the event.

During the event, students from various government colleges presented their projects. Some of the projects were highly appreciated by the industrialists, and they expressed interest in commercializing them by their industries.

Provincial Minister for Higher Education Meena Khan Afridi thanked the industrialists for encouraging the students. He shared that it was the first such event held within the industrial sector and similar activities would be organized in the future on regular basis. He further stated that he was aware of the issues faced by the industries and necessary steps would be taken to resolve them.

Secretary, Higher Education Department Israr Khan appreciated the IAP role in organizing such an interesting event and stated that KP government was fully committed to commercialization and industrialization, adding that all available resources would be properly utilized to encourage the students of government colleges in commercialization of their projects to play role in the socio-economic development of KP.
