55 employees in transport department reshuffled

PESHAWAR: A large scale reshuffling was made in the Department of Transport and Mass Transit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in light of the decision of the provincial cabinet and directives of the Chief Minister Mehmood Khan.

A notification on Saturday stated that following the orders of the Provincial Minister for Transport and Mass Transit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Muhammad Khan Wazir, Deputy Director Transport and Mass Transit Department Dr Tariq Usman Saeed had transferred 55 employees.

In this regard, the Provincial Minister Shah Muhammad Khan Wazir said that the reshuffling was made following the directives of the Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and the decision of the provincial cabinet. He added that this action had been taken purely for the betterment of the department as bringing reforms in the Department of Transport and Mass Transit was the top priority of the provincial government.

The minister further said that it would improve the performance of the department. “Of which 55 employees have been transferred as their tenure was more than two years in the same positions,” the minister said, adding that the process of reforms would continue and more positive steps would be taken for the betterment of this department.
