Five killed in road mishap buried

LAKKI MARWAT: Five persons killed in road mishap in South Waziristan district were laid to rest in Mammakhel village on Wednesday.
Sources said that 24 people of Mammakhel village were on their way back to village from Machen Neka Shrine when their over speeding van fell down from a bridge at Badr village late Tuesday. Five persons died on the spot, while 19 sustained injuries.
The dead and injured were shifted to a hospital in Ladha from where they were referred to hospitals in Dera Ismail Khan and Wana. The condition of some of the injured persons was stated to be critical. The dead bodies of five persons were shifted to Mammakhel village where they were laid to rest. Some of the dead persons were identified as Gul Farid Shah, Irfan and Attaullah.
