Services of Muslim Hands for humanity lauded

PESHAWAR: Muslim Hands is an international charitable organization that is at the forefront of serving humanity at international level. “We value the services of Muslim Hands for the needy people,” said Sharafat Ali Khan, Chief Minister’s focal person while distributing winter kits among the beneficiaries in Madyan, Swat here on Tuesday.

The CM’s focal person appreciated the process of providing beds and warm clothes to the poor in this cold season and appealed to other institutions, organisations and well-off people to come forward and serve the people.

On the occasion, Rahim Ullah Khan, Regional Director, Muslim Hands, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said that his organisation under the leadership of Syed Lakht Hasnain Shah was active in the service of humanity in 52 countries of the world, adding that Muslim Hands was running schools for the education and training of orphans in which books, copies, bags and uniforms were also provided to the orphans free of cost along with free education.

According to the the Regional Director of Muslim Hands, warm clothes and bedding are also provided in cold areas. Winter kits have been distributed in Swat since 2012. As usual, winter kits were distributed to 200 families in Swat, 100 in Madyan, 100 in Pashmal Kalam and 100 in Kaghan and Balakot. The winter kit included a bed, 2 warm shawls, 3 hips, 3 sweaters, stockings, gloves, 3 warm hats, 1 box of masks and 3 detox soaps.
