PHC orders authorities to regularize RTPSC employees

PESHAWAR: The Hon’ble Peshawar High Court (PHC) has ordered the concerned authorities to regularize the contract employees of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Right to Public Services Commission (KPRTPSC).

While announcing the judgment on September 3, 2020 (the copy whereof received today) in Writ Petition No. 5036-P/2019 submitted by Shahab Hussain and others through Babar Hayat Advocate against the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government, the Hon’ble PHC disposed of the petition directing the KPRTPSC and Provincial Government to consider the regularization of the petitioners and finalize the process within three months positively.

Here it is to be mentioned that Shahab Hussain – a contract employee of the KPRTPSC, along with other colleagues had filed a writ petition in the Hon’ble PHC through their lawyer Babar Hayat Advocate on 1st August, 2019, claiming for their regularization like other employees of different departments and projects of the provincial government.

The case was followed by several hearings and finally the Hon’ble PHC decided the case in favor of the petitioners here on Thursday, September 3, 2020 and remitted the KPRTPSC and Provincial Government to consider the service regularization of the contract employees.
