Interfaith harmony workshop held at PSC

PESHAWAR: The Faith Friends Khyber Pakhtunkhwa organized interfaith harmony workshop at the Pakistan Study Center (PSC), University of Peshawar (UoP), concluded here on Thursday.

Prof Dr Fakhrul Islam, Director, PSC, was the chief guest and keynote speaker at the 2-day workshop which was attended by the representatives of Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, Christianity and Bahai community.

While addressing the participants, Prof Fakhar stressed on the need of protecting the rights of minorities and said that non-Muslim Pakistanis were hard working and patriots. He paid rich tribute to Faith Friends Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for its valuable services regarding interfaith harmony.

Apart from other speakers, the workshop was also addressed by Qari Muhammad Tayyeb, Khateeb, Masjid Mahabat Khan, Peshawar who emphasized on interfaith harmony among all the segments of the country.
