Sacrifices of police to be remembered: Mardan DPO

MARDAN: District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Zahidullah Khan on Tuesday said that the sacrifices of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police martyrs would be written in golden words.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police bravely fought the terrorists, he said while talking to the media at Police Lines Mardan. Superintendent of Police Investigation Ayaz Khan, DSP City Inam Jan, DSP Headquarters Gulshed Khan and other officials were also present.
Dr Zahidullah Khan paid tribute to the police martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the restoration of peace. He added that 108 police officials and jawans were martyred in the line of the duty. Earlier, Quran Khwani was also held at the police lines.
The DPO presented salute to the memorial of martyred cops and laid floral wreath on the memorial of martyrs. He also inaugurated a blood camp at police lines. Similarly, he also visited a graveyard at Gujjar Garhi and laid floral wreath at the graves of police martyrs.
