Murder case resolved in Lakki

LAKKI MARWAT: The police claimed to have resolved a blind murder case in Darra Pezu town on Saturday.

The police registered a report of one Zarwali Khan, resident of Kali Khan in Dera Ismail Khan, stating that the bullet-riddled body of his son, Gul Wali, was found near his auto-shop on June 15 in Darra Pezu. The police had launched investigation to arrest the accused.

After thorough investigation, the police arrested Jaffar Ali, brother of the victim, who was involved in his murder. The motive behind the murder could not be ascertained.

Meanwhile, a senior lawyer Muhammad Yaqoob Advocate passed away after protected illness here on Friday. He was 55. His funeral prayer was offered at Eidgah at 6:45 pm and was attended by people from all walks of life including lawyers community. He was laid to rest in Bukhari Shah Graveyard. He used to plead criminal cases at the lower courts as well as high court.
