Mother's greatness a universal truth: Dr Faiza

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Peoples Party’s women wing senior leader and former parliamentarian Dr Faiza Rashid has said that no human being, nation, religion or sect could deny the greatness of mother, and as Muslims they should pay homage to their mothers every day and every moment.
On the eve of International Mother's Day she said that in Pakistan as well as in whole of the world International Mother's Day was celebrated on the second Sunday of May every year but that did not mean that mother's greatness and importance was just a single day celebration, but we should remember our mothers every time and celebrate their presence among us.
She said that the purpose of celebrating this day was to highlight the greatness of the sacred relationship and position of mother and to promote feelings of devotion and love for our mothers across the world.
