AWKUM, Gomal University ink MoU for academic excellence

MARDAN: A memorandum of understanding has been signed by the Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and the Gomal University D. I. Khan to strengthen research, educational and scientific cooperation between the two institutions.
The Vice Chancellor, Gomal University, Prof Dr Iftikhar Ahmed and the Vice Chancellor, Abdul Wali Khan University, Prof Dr Zahoor-ul-Haq signed the agreement at a ceremony held here on Wednesday at the Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan.
As per the details, the aim of the MoU is to develop mutual ties between the two institutions by collaboration regarding faculty/student exchange and organizing seminars, conferences, symposiums and other events in the fields of science, social sciences and arts to further grow and project both the partners.
On the occasion, the Vice Chancellor, Gomal University, Prof Dr Iftikhar Ahmed said that the purpose of the agreement was to make a sound relationship between the two universities under agreed terms and conditions, adding that he was very much interested in joint venture with the AWKUM to grow together with the expertise of the faculty and researchers of both the institutions.
Addressing the participants, the Vice Chancellor, Abdul Wali Khan University Prof Dr Zahoor-ul-Haq stated that the MoU would be proved a milestone in the progress and development of the two academic partners, saying that it would bring fruitful results in the near future by ensuring wonderful academic excellence.
