Lecturer Rashid Bacha defends Ph.D thesis

PESHAWAR: Rashid Bacha, a Lecturer at the Government Degree College Khanpur, Lower Dir, has successfully defended his Ph.D thesis from the Department of Pashto, University of Peshawar (UoP) here on Monday.
The thesis defense function of the scholar was held at the UoP which was followed by a question-answer session wherein he defended his research work by answering the questions of the audience in a scholarly way and he was declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Pashto.
The scholar completed his study under the supervision of Dr Sher Zaman Seemab of the Pashto Academy, University of Peshawar, while Prof Dr Abdullah Jan Abid of the Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad served as his external examiner.
Apart from faculty members, research scholars and students of the university, the thesis defense function was also attended by a number of people from different walks of life.
