AWKUM and Fisheries Department ink MoU

MARDAN: A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and Fisheries Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for doing joint ventures here on Friday.
A ceremony was held in this regard at the AWKUM. The MoU was signed by Registrar AWKUM Mian Saleem and DG Fisheries Dr Khaisro Kalim. The Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences, Prof Dr Sultan Ayaz, Director ORIC Dr Tariq Mahmood and Director Fisheries Zubair Ali were present on the occasion.
According to the agreement, the two partners will cooperate with each other in the fields of research and financing the higher education for students. Similarly, they will hold joint workshops and seminars while the staff of both the partners will also cooperate with each other in publications etc.
The Vice Chancellor, AWKUM, Prof Dr Zahoor-ul-Haq on the occasion said that under the MoU, the two institutions would be able to benefit from each other’s experiences and research, adding that higher education would be promoted because of such efforts.
