Two scholars of ICU defend M.Phil theses

PESHAWAR: Research scholars Naveed Khan and Yasmeen Kausar of the Department of Management Sciences, Islamia College University (ICU) Peshawar have successfully defended their theses and declared eligible for the award of M.Phil degrees in the subject of Management Sciences.

The theses defense function of the scholars was held at the ICU here on Thursday in which they successfully defended their research works by answering the questions of the audience in a proper way. Faculty members, research scholars, students and people from different walks of life participated on the occasion.

The title of the thesis of scholar Naveed Khan is: “Validity of Fama and French Six Factor Model: Evidence from Pakistan Equity Market” which he completed under the supervision of Hamid Ullah, Assistant Professor, Department of Management Sciences, ICU.

Similarly, the topic of the study of scholar Yasmeen Kausar is: “The effect of perceived overqualification on Deviant behavior and performance: A case study of private teaching hospital Peshawar” which she completed under the supervision of Dr Shahid Jan Kakakhel, Chairman, Department of Management Sciences, ICU.
