Workshop on time series analysis held at University of Swat

SWAT: The Department of Economics and Development Studies, University of Swat, organized a two-day workshop on “Time Series Analysis” here on Thursday to Friday at the main campus.
The resource person for the workshop was Prof Dr Wasim Shahid Malik, SBP Chair at the Department of Economics, University of Peshawar, whereas research scholars and faculty members of many universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were among the participants.
The chief guest in the closing ceremony was Prof Dr Muhammad Jamal Khan, Vice Chancellor, University of Swat. Prof Dr Fazal Mabood, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences and Mehboob-ur-Rehman, Registrar, University of Swat, were also present on the occasion.
While addressing the audience, the Vice Chancellor appreciated the activities of the Department of Economics and Development Studies and assured his full support and facilitation for organizing such activities, adding that the university had always encouraged such positive and fruitful initiatives.
On the occasion, Dr Anwar Hussain, Chairman, Department of Economics and Development Studies, thanked the Vice Chancellor, the resource person and others for their participation in the workshop.
