Let the dove of peace sit on deck

Dr Liaqat Ali

The USA is a great country, marked by established democratic norms, pleural society, the land of opportunities, the writ of law and order, and it’s civilian supremacy in decision making and military supremacy in hi-tech sciences. The people of the US are very loving, bearing vocal voices against war adversities, while they are the strong proponents of peace and human rights across the globe. The same is true for Iran, carrying the legacy of thousands of years of civilization, amazing etiquettes, the inspiring scholars, and the followers of knowledge. The Iranian nation is known for its high resilience, kindness, and love for seeking diverse canvas of knowledge.

The conflict between the two doesn’t represent the clash of civilization, as both are the descendants of Shem and Jephthah. The forefathers of both the nations arrived from the Ark of Noah jointly after the end of great Deluge.

The war theatre between the US and Iran was sophisticatedly designed by the advocates of assumptions and the malice of rivalry in blood lines. The US military establishment overlooked the theological compulsion of Iran for “not having the nukes.” This theological binding draws the ideological boundaries of the legitimacy of the Iranian state.

The devastations have occurred, the human causalities in the region have already tainted the biblical page of Abrahamic Accord. The descendants of Shem, Hem, and Jephthah are pitched against each other in camouflaged dictum of the clash of civilization. The sincere and effective mediation of Pakistan has finally achieved the cease-fire and resumption of talks.

When both have finally stopped throwing emotional anchors overboard and lowered the defenses, the trio of Pakistan-China-Turkey, is clearing the space for the dove of peace to return. Let’s allow this dove of peace with an olive branch to sit on the deck. This is a universal principle that the rules of games are not changed during the game.

“No can do McGoo. The warring factions have agreed on the frame work. The framework for talks are rules and we cannot change them in the middle of the game just because they are inconvenient for mightier faction right now.”

The President Trump on behalf of the American nation must show the grace and courage to end this historic, military, and regional quagmire.

The imposition of the condition of signing a very vague “Abrahamic Accord” during the ending phase of the conflict is again a conspiracy for prolonging the conflict. It is nearly impossible for even major Arab stakeholders to sign this blood ridden accord. We need academia when there are no definitions except abstracts. Let the academia and intelligentsia in later stages discuss and formulate the intangible Abrahamic Accord into a phenomenal manuscript that can fulfill the desired objectives of stability, security, interfaith harmony with humanity, and mutual respect.

Let the US later takes the credit of that well-explained treaty of mutual security of the Middle East. Let the Hurmuz opens, and let the world takes a deep sigh of relief from growing inflations and miseries. Millions of children in the third world will die of hunger and malnutrition in the near future, if sanity doesn’t prevails. It’s the time to shun the ambitions of the descendants of Cane and Kush for a better future.

The present conflict has been between the present great vs the past’s great and it wouldn’t have happened as the pseudointellectuals have failed to understand the predestined reality of the clash of blood lines of the joint forces of the descendants of Ismail and Isaac against the forces of the enemy of God on the banks of Euphrates, not on Hurmuz. The echoes of the final return and Armageddon can be found in Surah Al-Nasr – the 110th Surah of the Holy Qur’an.

So, let the warring factions allow the dove of peace to sit on the deck as this dove is a spiritual sign of harmony, grief relief, and a calming presence.
