PEC evaluates UET Mardan’s engineering programs

MARDAN: A team of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) visited the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan here the other day to conduct a reaccreditation evaluation of the Computer Software and Telecommunication Engineering programs.

The PEC team engaged in a comprehensive assessment of the Computer Software and Telecommunication Engineering programs, with a focus on curriculum, faculty qualifications, infrastructure and the overall learning environment.

Prof Dr Imran Khan, Vice-Chancellor, UET Mardan, extended a warm welcome to the PEC team and highlighted the university’s dedication to producing highly skilled engineers. He stated, “We are committed to providing our students with the best possible education in the field of Computer Software and Telecommunication Engineering, and this reaccreditation process is a testament to our continuous improvement efforts.”

During the visit, the PEC team conducted thorough inspections of the laboratories, classrooms and research facilities. The team also held meetings with faculty members and students to get a valuable feedback on the programs’ strengths and areas for improvement.
