MPhil scholar Iffat Nazir defends thesis

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Iffat Nazir of the Pakistan Study Center (PSC), University of Peshawar (UoP), has successfully defended her thesis and declared eligible for the award of MPhil degree in the subject of Pakistan Study.
The defense function was held under the chair of Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam, Director PSC, at the UoP here on Friday. The event was followed by a question-answer session in which the scholar defended her research work by answering the questions of the participants in a scholarly way. Apart from faculty members, research scholars and students, the function was attended by people from different walks of life.
The title of the thesis of the scholar is: “Voting Behavior of Women in Karak” which she completed under the supervision of Dr Khan Faqir, whereas Dr Sumaira from the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar was her external examiner.
