Ashfaq Khan defends PhD thesis from IMSciences

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Ashfaq Khan of the Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar has successfully defended his thesis and declared eligible for the award of PhD degree in the subject of Economics.
A function was held in this regard at the IMSciences here on Friday in which he defended his research work by answering the questions of the participants in a scholarly way. Faculty members, research scholars and students as well as people from different walks of life participated on the occasion.
The title of the study of the scholar is: “Computational Analysis of Pakistan’s Free Trade Agreements: A GTAP-CGE Modelling Approach” which he completed under the supervision of Prof Dr Atta-ur-Rahman, while Dr Shahid Ali, Assistant Professor, University of Swat, was his external examiner.
