Tariq Pakhtunyar defends Ph.D thesis

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Tariq Pakhtunyar of the Department of Pashto, University of Peshawar (UoP) has successfully defended his Ph.D thesis here on Friday.
The thesis defense function of the scholar was held at the UoP in which he defended his research work by answering the questions of the audience in a scholarly way and he was declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Pashto.
Prof Dr Abdul Waheed Khan of the Department of Pashto, University of Peshawar, served as supervisor of the scholar, while Dr Hanif Khalil of the Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, was his external examiner.
The function was attended by Prof Dr Roohullah, Chairman, Department of Pashto, UoP, Prof Dr Nasrullah Jan Wazir, Director, Pashto Academy, UoP, Dr Samiuddin Armaan, Dr Shakeel Ahmad, Dr Zafar Ullah Bakhshali, Hayat Roghani, research scholars, students and people from different walks of life.
