Mazhar Ullah defends Ph.D thesis

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Mazhar Ullah of the Department of Physics, Islamia College University (ICU) Peshawar has successfully defended his Ph.D thesis here on Monday.

The thesis defence function was held at the ICU in which he defended his research work successfully by answering the questions of the audience in a scholarly way and he was declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Physics.

The scholar completed his study under the supervision of Dr Ghulam Murtaza, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, ICU, whereas Dr Amin-ur-Rahman of the Riphah International University Islamabad and Dr Shah Haider Khan of the University of Peshawar served as his external examiners.

The Chairman, Department of Physics, ICU, Prof Dr Aurang Zeb, faculty members, research scholars and students attended the thesis defence function. Here, it is worth mentioning that Mazhar Ullah is the first Ph.D graduate of the Department of Physics, Islamia College University Peshawar.
