Two M.Phil scholars of ICU defend theses

PESHAWAR: Research scholars Jalal Ahmad and Waheed Nawaz of the Department of Political Science, Islamia College University (ICU), Peshawar have successfully defended their M.Phil theses here on Monday.
A function was arranged in this regard at the ICU wherein they defended their research works successfully by answering the questions of the participants in a proper way and they were declared eligible for the award of M.Phil degrees in the subject of Political Science.
Both the scholars completed their theses under the supervision of Dr Amir Ullah Khan, Chairman, Department of Political Science, ICU, while Meritorious Professor Dr Fazle Rahim Marwat was the external examiner of scholar Jalal Ahmad and Dr Aamir Raza, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, University of Peshawar was the external examiner of scholar Waheed Nawaz.
The title of the thesis of scholar Jalal Ahmad is: “Women Empowerment in Union Councils under KP LGA, 2013: A Case Study of Tehsil Takht Bhai, Mardan” whereas the topic of the thesis of scholar Waheed Nawaz is: “Education Governance of Male Primary Education: Case Study of Tehsil Domel, Bannu”.
