Noor Rehman defends Ph.D thesis

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Noor Rehman of the Centre of Biotechnology and Microbiology, University of Peshawar (UoP) has successfully defended his thesis and declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Microbiology.
In this regard, a function was arranged at the Centre of Biotechnology and Microbiology, UoP here on Tuesday in which he defended his research work successfully. The event was followed by a question-answer session, wherein he answered the questions of the participants in a proper way. Apart from faculty members, research scholars and students, the function was also attended by a number of people from different fields of life.
The topic of his thesis is, “Molecular Characterization and In-Silico Drug Designing for Antibiotic Resistant Genes of Beta Lactamases Producing Escherichia Coli from Clinical Isolates of Khyber Teaching Hospital, District Peshawar” which he completed under the supervision of Dr Sadiq Azam, Assistant Professor, Centre of Biotechnology and Microbiology, UoP and Dr Amjad Ali, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Hazara University, Mansehra.
