Ph.D scholar Nadar Khan defends thesis

PESHAWAR: A research scholar, Nadar Khan of the Department of Animal Nutrition, Agriculture University Peshawar (AUP) has successfully defended his Ph.D thesis on Wednesday.

In this regard, a function was held at the AUP on Wednesday in which he successfully defended his research work by answering the questions of the audience in a scholarly way and he was declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Animal Nutrition.

The topic of his thesis is: “Optimizing the nutritional value of maize silage in relation to dairy animal performance and milk quality” which he completed under the supervision of Dr Nazir Ahmad Khan, Associate Professor, Department of Animal Nutrition, AUP, while it was examined by many well-known professors in Pakistan, Canada and Netherland. 

The thesis defense function was attended by Prof Dr Nazir Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences, AUP, Dr Muhammad Tahir, Chairman, Department of Animal Nutrition, Prof Dr Sarzamin Khan, Chairman, Department of Poultry Sciences, Prof Dr Syed Muhammad Suhail, Chairman, Department of Livestock Management, Breeding and Genetics, faculty members, research scholars and people from different walks of life.
