Ph.D scholar Faheem defends thesis

PESHAWAR: Engr Faheem Ali, a Ph.D scholar of the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Peshawar has successfully defended his thesis.
A function was held at the UET on Saturday in which he defended his research work. The event was followed by a question-answer session in which he answered the questions of the participants in a proper way and he was declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Electrical Engineering. Faculty members, research scholars, students and people from different walks of life attended the function.
The topic of his thesis is: “Real-time power factor correction model for consumers connected to distribution system of Pakistan”. Prof Dr Mohammad Naeem Arbab of the Department of Electrical Engineering, UET was his supervisor, while the thesis was examined by many well-known national and international professors.
