Lecturer Musarrat Ijaz defends Ph.D thesis

PESHAWAR: Musarrat Ijaz, a Lecturer of the Department of Statistics, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU), Peshawar has successfully defended her Ph.D thesis from the Quid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad.

In this regard, a function was held at the QAU on Tuesday in which she defended her research work. The event was followed by a question-answer session in which she answered the questions of the audience in a scholarly way and she was declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Statistics. Faculty members, research scholars, students and people from different walks of life attended the function.

Scholar Musarrat Ijaz has completed her research under the supervision of Prof Dr Zahid Asghar, Director, School of Economics, QAU, whereas Dr Asma has served as her co-supervisor, while the thesis was examined by many well-known professors in Pakistan as well as abroad.
