CSO removal lauded by IJT

PESHAWAR: Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba (IJT), University of Peshawar chapter has appreciated the act of termination of Chief Security Officer (CSO), University Campus and termed it a great victory of the students’ movement.
In a press release issued on Monday, Imad Nizami, Nazim, IJT, University of Peshawar, said that Col (R) Aziz Gul, CSO, University Campus was responsible for torture against peaceful students on 4th October, 2018 and now the authorities had removed him from his post on the recommendations of the provincial parliamentary committee which the students welcomed and it was hoped that other culprits involved in that incident would also be awarded exemplary punishment.
He further stated that they would always fight for the rights of the students and would not be afraid of any sacrifice in this regard, adding that all the students associations and organisations must be united for this sacred cause to ensure the basic rights of the students.
