PSF welcomes termination of CSO, University Campus

PESHAWAR: Peoples Students Federation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chapter has appreciated the decision of the termination of Col (R) Aziz Gul, Chief Security Officer, University Campus, Peshawar from his post and termed it as a good omen for the students.
In a press release issued on Friday, Riaz Khan Yousafzai, General Secretary, Peoples Students Federation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that they welcomed the decision and hoped that other recommendations of the parliamentary committee would also be implemented in letter and spirit by the authorities.
He further stated that on 4th October, 2018, the students of the Peshawar University were brutally tortured by police on the direction of University’s administration at a time when they were peacefully protesting and demanding their basic rights, therefore, everyone who was behind that incident, should be awarded exemplary punishment in order to stop the trend of torture against students at campuses.
