AWKUM starts online classes in affiliated colleges

MARDAN: The Vice Chancellor, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM), Prof Dr Zahoor-ul-Haq has launched online classes in the private affiliated colleges soon after successfully starting online classes at the main campus.

In this regard, a short ceremony was held on Friday at the AWKUM which was presided over by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr Zahoor-ul-Haq, while it was attended by Dr Ateeq-ur-Rehman, Director Admissions and LMS Coordinator, Professor Dr Sher Afzal, Director Academics, and Imran, Deputy Director Academics as well as other officials.

While addressing the participants, the Vice Chancellor said that the AWKUM had launched the online classes after a notification was received in this regard from the Higher Education Commission and Higher Education Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 1st June, 2020, adding that online education at the AWKUM has successfully been going on and marvelous results had been received in this context by saving the precious time of the students.

He further stated that the AWKUM not only launched its own LMS within shortest possible time but also extended the facility to private affiliated colleges, saying that currently the mid-term examinations were being conducted through the LMS successfully.
