PhD scholar Tabassum defends thesis

PESHAWAR: Tabassum Mehboob, a research scholar of the Pakistan Study Centre (PSC), University of Peshawar (UoP) has successfully defended her Ph.D thesis on Tuesday.

A function was held at the PSC, UoP on Tuesday in which she defended her research work by answering the questions of the participants properly and she was declared eligible for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Pakistan Studies. People from different walks of life participated in the event, whereas many persons participated online. Prof Dr Arshad Ali, Director, Institute of Education and Research (IER), UoP also attended the function on the special invitation of the PSC.

The topic of the study of the scholar is: “Pakistan Studies Curriculum from intermediate to master level in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: An Analysis” which she completed under the supervision of Prof Dr Abdullah Khan, while it was examined by Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam, Director, PSC, UoP, Prof Dr Qadir Bakhsh Baloch, Head of the Department of Management Studies, Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan and Prof Dr Hanif Khalil, Director, National Institute of Pakistan Studies, Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad.
