AUTA demands selection board for TTS faculty

PESHAWAR: The Agriculture University Teachers Association (AUTA) has demanded the university administration to convene the selection board meeting for TTS faculty members before the upcoming meeting of the Syndicate.
A meeting of the Agriculture University Teachers Association (AUTA), Agriculture University Peshawar (AUP) held on Thursday in which the president Prof Dr Shah Alam Khan and office bearers as well as members of the AUTA participated, whereas a number of retired faculty members of the AUP also attended the meeting.
The participants demanded during the meeting that pension/commutation problems of the retired faculty of the university must be resolved on immediate basis as they had been suffering from the last one year, adding that the Vice Chancellor should schedule a meeting with the AUTA to discuss the aforementioned problems in details in order to go ahead for their effective and speedy solution.
