Pakistan Study Centre produces another Ph.D

PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Study Centre (PSC), University of Peshawar (UoP) has produced another Ph.D on Thursday. 

In this regard a function was held in PSC on Thursday in which the Ph.D scholar Hamida Bibi defended her thesis, titled “Women Political Participation: A Case Study of Peshawar District (2002-2013)” under the supervision of Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam, Director, PSC, UoP. 

The external examiners of the Ph.D scholar were Prof Dr Razia Sultana, Vice Chancellor, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar, Prof Dr Zahid Ali Khan Marwat, Dean, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and Prof Dr Fazlur Rahim Marwat, retired Professor, PSC, UoP.

Due to the Corona pandemic, some of the examiners and a large number of research scholars joined the thesis defence function online. The scholar defended her thesis properly by responding to various questions of the examiners and other participants. The committee recommended her for the award of Ph.D degree in the subject of Pakistan Studies.
