University of Chitral launches android app

CHITRAL: The University of Chitral has launched android app for its Open Educational Resources (OER) website in order to provide online education to its students in an easy and advanced way.
In this regard a press release has been issued by the university’s administration on Tuesday, according to which the latest development had taken place by the university in response to the praise it received from the students, research scholars and academia throughout the country for starting OER website and that’s why it was decided to launch android app as well.
The press release further said that the OER website and its app could now be accessed from everywhere in the world, adding that another feature of the app was that apart from allowing the users to view the lectures and read the books online, it also allowed them to download their required material for offline access.
To facilitate easy downloading of the app, its link has been placed on the top-right corner of menu-bar in the OER website, while the website could be visited through its URL http://www.oer.uoch.edu.pk.
