Institute of Physics awards fellowship to Dr Yaseen Iqbal

PESHAWAR: The Institute of Physics, UK has awarded fellowship to Prof Dr Yaseen Iqbal Yousafzai, Chairman, Department of Physics, University of Peshawar which is the recognition of his accomplishments in the field of Physics and the impact he has made in his career.

On this achievement, Prof Dr Yaseen Iqbal Yousafzai while expressing his views said that first of all, he acknowledged the support of his two great supporters and distinguished scientists, Prof I M Reaney and Prof I Todd because the achievement would not have been possible without their sincere support, adding that he acknowledged the valuable guidance of all his teachers/supervisors, especially Prof Ghulam Muhammad Khan (during his M.Sc), Prof W E Lee and Prof P F James (during his PhD and Postdocs), Prof I M Reaney and Prof H A Davies (during his two consecutive Postdocs) and many other sincere friends and relatives, and in particular the students whose hard work and contributions enabled him to achieve the goal.
