BRAINS Institute, University of Haripur sign MoU

PESHAWAR: A memorandum of understanding has been signed between BRAINS Institute and University of Haripur to jointly implement the globally-recognized skills training courses. The MoU signing ceremony was held at BRAINS Institute here on the other day, wherein the delegates from both the institutions participated.

The MoU was signed by Zafar Ullah Khan, Rector, BRAINS Institute and Prof Dr Shafiq-ur-Rahman, Vice Chancellor, University of Haripur. The program focuses on the development of in-demand IT skills for the students and youth to cope with challenges of modern digital age.

Under the MoU, BRAINS Institute would render all necessary technical and physical assistance to University of Haripur in effectively implementing different initiatives of Cisco Int’l training program. This partnership would serve to build the capacities of both the students and faculty members in creating an ecosystem for promoting the modern skills development to tap the employment opportunities in global market.

As per the MoU, a Centre for Professional Development (CPD) will be developed for fulfilling the prioritized professional development needs of both the students and teachers at University of Haripur. The digital infrastructure will be raised through availability of a specialised Learning Management System (LMS), online access to Cisco Int’l web portal – NetAcad and other digital resources.

Through a faculty development program, both the instructors and operational staff will have an exposure and learning by having a close interaction with the global Cisco community. Also, this partnership would enable teachers and students for enhanced revenue generation through proven business development plans.
