SUIT signs MoU with MCKRU for joint ventures

PESHAWAR: Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology (SUIT) has inked a memorandum of understanding with Mir Chakar Khan Rind University (MCKRU) Sibi, to collaborate in the areas of education and research.
The MoU signing ceremony was held on Saturday at SUIT’s main campus in which the Vice Chancellor, SUIT, Prof Dr Salim-ur-Rehman and the Vice Chancellor, MCKRU, Prof Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Shah signed the agreement on behalf of their institutions.
While speaking on the occasion, Prof Dr Salim-ur-Rehman, Vice Chancellor, SUIT, told that under this agreement, the SUIT’s distance education program would be introduced and promoted in Balochistan to provide quality education to students at their doorstep.
The Vice Chancellor, MCKRU, Prof Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Shah stated that this joint venture would be proved very helpful for the provision of standard education to students of far-flung areas of Balochistan, saying that it was the right time to do something for the betterment of local students as majority of them deserve such development.
