Cop suspended over abusing medical rep

LAKKI MARWAT: District police officer suspended a cop over misbehaving a medical rep in THQ Hospital Serai Naurang on Thursday.
Taking serious note of a video clip viraled on social media where a Head Constable Khalid Raza had abused Kamran, medical representative of a pharmaceutical company in Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Serai Naurang, DPO Abdur Rauf Babar Qaiserani placed the cop under suspension and initiated departmental enquiry against him. The cop was directed to report to the Police Lines after suspension.
In a press release, DPO said that there was no room for the black wolves in the police force, adding that the police had no right to insult and abuse a citizen by misuse of power. He said that the police was meant to ensure security and protection to the citizens rather than abusing them.
