Dr Liaqat Ali participates in 2 conferences, represents KP

PESHAWAR: Well-known urologist, researcher and medical educationist Dr Liaqat Ali attended International Urosummit in Phuket, Thailand and presented his key note lecture on benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

During the event, he highlighted the situation of BPH in Pakistan, particularly Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and told that there was need for a global initiative to control such a miserable health condition of aging men in underdeveloped and developing countries.

Similarly, Dr Liaqat Ali also participated in 1st Annual Hyderabad Urology Conference in Hyderabad where he moderated two sessions and presented his key note lecture on “Updating Teaching Strategies in Urolithiasis”.

Addressing the audience, he said that kidney stones were a very common issue in regions like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that’s why there was great need for awareness, education and proper medication to address the problem of a large number of population in the country.
