World Anesthesia Day marked at LRH

PESHAWAR: The Lady Reading Hospital (MTI-LRH), Peshawar observed the World Anesthesia Day 2020 here on Friday.
A seminar was held in this regard, which was attended by the administrative officers, doctors, nurses and paramedical staff of the hospital and rich tribute was paid to the LRH's Anesthesia and Critical Care Department for its significant role in saving the lives of critically ill patients admitted at the ICU.
Meanwhile, the LRH spokesman Muhammad Asim told the media persons that anesthesia played a very important role in healthcare system, adding that more than 100 major operations being done on daily basis in the hospital.
At the end of the seminar, doctors, paramedics and nurses of the Anesthesia and Critical Care Department, worked during the Corona pandemic were given shields in recognition of their outstanding services.
