Seminar on situation after Corona pandemic held

CHITRAL: A seminar on the situation after Corona pandemic held at the University of Chitral (UoC) in collaboration with ACTED Pakistan here on Thursday.
The theme of the seminar was “Lessons learned from Covid-19 and the way forward”, wherein people from different walks of life participated in a large number. The speakers shared their experiences regarding Corona epidemic and presented papers highlighting the need and importance of scientific literacy, especially health education to save themselves in future from any other such pandemic.
While addressing the audience, Kamran Zeb, Project Manager, ACTED Pakistan, threw light on the precautionary measures taken by his organization to control the negative effects of Covid-19 by saving the precious lives of the public in different areas of the country.
Hayat Shah, Additional Deputy Commissioner Lower Chitral highlighted the services of the district administration how that tackled the pandemic. Zulfiqar Ali from Aga Khan Education Service and many others also spoke on the occasion and stressed on the need of social distancing and other precautionary measures.
