Two new books of Dr Humayun Huma published

PESHAWAR: Two new books of the renowned columnist, poet, playwright and educationist Dr Humayun Huma have been published.
According to a press release issued on Tuesday, his first book, titled ‘Column kahani’ is basically a collection of his famous and well-read columns already published in different national newspapers and magazines during the last 20 years. Different topics of social, economic, political, educational and literary nature have been highlighted and discussed precisely in the columns.
The book consists of 225 pages. Its price is Rs 500. Dastavez Publications, Lahore has published it and is available at all the prominent book stores of the major cities, whereas Ketabtoon Book Sellers, Mohalla Jhangi, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is the stockist.
Similarly, the second book is in Pashto and its title is: ‘Za khapero sara ardal ki Koh-i-qaaf ta zama’. It comprises of couplets written about his dear and close friends as well as legendary and intellectual personalities of the country. In the book, he has mixed nostalgic thoughts and romance by recalling the past.
The book consists of 130 pages and its price is Rs 300. It is published by Sangar Publications Mardan and is available in the well-known book shops of the big cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while the stockist is Ketabtoon Book Sellers, Mohalla Jhangi, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
