KTH issues performance report on Covid-19

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Teaching Hospital (MTI-KTH), Peshawar has released its performance report on Covid-19 on Saturday.

According to the report, the MTI-KTH has received its first Corona suspected patient on 22nd February, 2020 and since that date it has screened and sampled a total of 4289 patients out of whom 1555 were positive and the remaining 2704 were negative, while 30 results are still waited.

Similarly, 700 patients were admitted in the hospital and 533 successfully treated and recovered, whereas 121 patients have expired. Furthermore, 46 patients are still admitted in the hospital and 3589 patients have been treated as outdoor patients.

Apart from this, 83 employees of the hospital have successfully recovered from Coronavirus; they include 25 doctors, 8 managerial staff, 26 nurses, 12 clinical technicians and 12 ministerial and other staff.
