WHO, DGHS donate equipments to KTH

PESHAWAR: Khyber Teaching Hospital (MTI-KTH), Peshawar has received QuantStudio-5 Real-Time PCR System donated by the World Health Organization (WHO) and auto extractor Hero-32 donated by the Directorate General Health Services (DGHS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.

Here, it is to mention that the worth of QuantStudio-5 Real-Time PCR System donated by the WHO is around Rs 6 million, whereas the worth of auto extractor Hero-32 donated by the DGHS KP is around Rs 3.2 million.

Upon the installation of both the equipments at the hospital’s Public Health Laboratory, Dr Tahir Nadeem Khan, Hospital Director and Prof Dr Amir Azhar, Medical Director of MTI-KTH thanked the WHO and the DGHS KP for their support and cooperation in the prevailing situation of Corona pandemic.
