Safdar Baghi to be appointed as Governor KP: Peshawarites

PESHAWAR: The residents of Peshawar have asked the federal government to appoint well-known social and political activist Safdar Baghi as Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and said that he had the ability to efficiently work on such an important position and represent the center in the province.
In a press release issued here the other day, Asghar Khan, Tariq Khan, Javed Ali, Amanat Hussain, Shehla Gul, and many other persons belonging to the different areas of Peshawar, stated that Safdar Baghi was the most genuine person for this post as he had the capacity to vibrantly manage the affairs of such a highly important and responsible position.
“Everyone knows the sacrifices of his family for the peace and prosperity of the homeland. His elder brother Asif Baghi martyred in a brutal suicide bomb attack in 2007, however, his family never bowed to terrorists and that’s why he deserves this post to serve the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” the Peshawarites continued.
They further stated that Safdar Baghi was also a very good social worker while his services for the welfare and development of the people of Peshawar couldn’t be ignored, therefore, he must be given this exciting and challenging opportunity to play his due role in the progress of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
