Dr Liaqat Ali represents Pakistan in int’l event in Sri Lanka

PESHAWAR: Internationally acclaimed urologist, medical educationist and researcher Prof Dr Liaqat Ali participated in the 3rd International Congress of SAARC Association of Urological Surgeons held on November 15-17 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The mega event was attended by eminent urologists, researchers and academia from all over the world, especially the member countries of the SAARC.

Prof Liaqat Ali represented Pakistan in the well-attended conference with key note lectures on innovation and advancement in the management of kidney stones and uro-cancers, whereas he also chaired a scientific session on the occasion.

It is worth to mention that he was the lone urologist from Peshawar to represent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan in the congress and highlight the situation of urological health as well as the soft, bright and intellectual image of Pakistan on such a big international platform.

Apart from this scientific event, the Department of Urology, Institute of Kidney Diseases (IKD), Hayatabad in his leadership has presented 14 papers in UROCON 2023 in Karachi and 5 papers in a Hybrid Urology Conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands here the other day.
