Scholar Nawab Ali defends PhD thesis

PESHAWAR: Nawab Ali, a research scholar of the Department of Agronomy, University of Agriculture Peshawar (UAP) has successfully defended his PhD thesis here on Monday.
In this regard, a function was organized at the UAP wherein he defended his research work by answering the questions of the participants in a well-managed and proper way and he was declared eligible for the award of PhD degree in the subject of Agronomy.
The topic of his study is: “Economizing Nitrogen for Wheat Growth Yield and Quality under Water Regimes” which he completed under the supervision of Prof Dr Muhammad Akmal, while the thesis was examined by several eminent professors in the US and Germany.
Apart from faculty members, research scholars and students of the university, the thesis defense function of the scholar was also attended by a number of people belonging to different walks of life.
