Two new pharmacies inaugurated at KTH

PESHAWAR: Two new pharmacies have been established in the Khyber Teaching Hospital (MTI-KTH), Peshawar to provide all types of medicines to the patients under one roof.

A function was held in this regard here on Friday at the MTI-KTH in which the Hospital Director Prof Dr Rooh-ul-Muqim participated as the chief guest and inaugurated the newly-established pharmacies. Manager Pharmacy Seema Samin and other officials and staff members of the hospital were also present on the occasion.

While speaking to the participants, Dr Rooh-ul-Muqim said that the establishment of new pharmacies e.g. Casualty 1 (C1) and Ground 1 (G1) was in the best interest of the patients to provide quality medicines and standard surgical items to all the wards of the hospital.

He further stated that Casualty 1 (C1) pharmacy would provide medicines to the wards of Accident and Emergency Department (A&E), whereas Ground 1 (G1) pharmacy would provide medicines to the wards of ground floor.
