PSF discusses students’ issues with VC, UoP

PESHAWAR: A delegation of the People’s Students Federation (PSF), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa visited the office of the Vice Chancellor, University of Peshawar (UoP) Prof Dr Muhammad Abid and discussed different problems of the students with him here on Thursday.

Riaz Khan Yousafzai, General Secretary, PSF, KP was leading the delegation, whereas Waqar Khattak, Spokesperson, PSF, KP, Faizan Khan, Senior Vice President, PSF, UoP and Zia-ul-Islam, General Secretary, PSF, UoP were also present on the occasion.

The delegation demanded the Vice Chancellor, UoP to reduce the fee and address the problems of online classes and M.Phil and Ph.D procedures, adding that all the hostels should be opened and shops, canteens and cafeterias etc. should also be allotted immediately in order to facilitate the students on campus.

Prof Dr Muhammad Abid, VC, UoP, assured the PSF delegation that he would play his due role in solving the said issues and strengthening the University administratively and financially, adding that the progress and development of the University was his utmost priority and he would do his best in this regard.
