PPP urges youth to play active role in politics

PESHAWAR: A meeting of the provincial office bearers of People’s Students Federation (PSF) and People’s Youth Organization (PYO) held here on Saturday to discuss the role of youth in the present political scenario of the country.

The meeting was presided over by Mir Sohrab Khan Mari, Coordinator to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and ex-President PSF Pakistan, whereas Humayun Khan, President, Pakistan People’s Party, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Rashid Khan Afridi, President, PSF, KP, Riaz Khan Yousafzai, General Secretary, PSF, KP, Sami Khan, President, PYO, KP and others attended the meeting.

While addressing the occasion, Mir Sohrab Khan Mari said that youth were the precious and valuable asset of PPP and their role in politics was very crucial that is why big and important responsibilities would be handed over to them in future, adding that today’s youth were politically mature which was a very good development.

He also conveyed the message and best wishes of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to the office bearers of the party organizations and associations in KP and stated that all the party leaders should motivate and organize the youth to play active role in strengthening democracy and political culture in the country.
