Meeting of Provincial Nurses Association held

MARDAN: A meeting of the Provincial Nurses Association (PNA) was held on Thursday in Mardan where different matters of the forthcoming elections of the association were discussed in details.

The meeting was arranged under the chair of PNA’s President Inayat-ul-Haq, whereas General Secretary Anwar Sultana and presidents and general secretaries of all the district chapters were present on the occasion.

President, PNA Inayat-ul-Haq and General Secretary Anwar Sultana while addressing the audience said that the organizational elections were very important and all the respected members of the association must participate in this democratic process, adding that all the nurses as well as student-nurses should get registered themselves for the new session in order to become eligible for casting their votes.

They stated that without registration and active membership no one would have the right to cast the vote for his/her respective candidate, saying that all the members should prepare themselves for the elections as it was a very peaceful, effective and right way to get their rights by electing sincere, honest and hardworking leadership.

Similarly, the presidents and general secretaries of the district chapters of PNA vowed to follow the directions of the national and provincial leadership regarding the elections and to motivate and guide the workers on district and tehsil levels to get prepared for this noble cause.
